Jerry, Cory

Born
in Rock Springs and raised right here in Cheyenne. Jerry
comes to us with a BS in Finance from the University of
Wyoming and an MBA from Preston University. For 18 years
he worked for the State of Wyoming. Most recently he was
the Chief Financial Officer for the Department of Workforce
Services. Jerry became familiar with and very interested
in the real estate arena as Buildings Coordinator for the
Department of Employment. This included property sales and
lease negotiations statewide.
Jerry enjoys the great outdoors of Wyoming, where he and
his family spend as much of their free time as they can
camping, hunting and snowmobiling. His stepson Todd is a
freshman at the University of Wyoming and his son Sawyer
attends preschool here in Cheyenne. His wife Jamie works
for the Wyoming Adjutant General.
Jerry brings with him both a personal and professional dedication
to the Cheyenne community as well as to all of Wyoming.

Wyoming
has been my home since 1960. I attended high school here
and was an owner in a family-owned business in Cheyenne
prior to becoming a real estate professional. The experience
I acquired working in this community has provided me with
a good working knowledge of the businesses, neighborhoods
and people of Cheyenne and the surrounding areas. I have
watched Cheyenne and Wyoming change over the years and I
feel a strong connection and desire to see positive growth
while preserving a hometown atmosphere.
The same principles that guided me for 25 plus years in
business, you can expect as your real estate agent. Honesty,
integrity, professionalism, and excellent customer service
are the standards I learned and will use in assisting you
with you real estate needs.
My wife, Nancy, and I have been married since 1978 and we
have two children, Mark and Kristen. Mark graduated from
Mesa State College where he played football and received
his history teaching degree. He currently coaches at Carroll
College in Montana where they are the 4-time Defending National
Champions. Kristen graduated from the University of Wyoming
where she was a captain on the UW Women’s Basketball
team and where she received a degree in communications.
We all enjoy spending time with family and friends, outdoor
activities, and sporting events. We are proud to call Wyoming
home.

My
name is Cory Kasten, I was born and raised in Colorado Springs,
CO in 1969 and I am the youngest of five children, two brothers
and two sisters. I graduated from Benedictine College in 1991
with a degree in biology and an associate’s degree in
Sociology. I played professional soccer after college for
four years until injuries forced me out of playing. In 1999
I married my lovely wife Bianca, and we now have two daughters,
Logan (5) and Lauryn (2) that we absolutely adore.
I started
my finance career in 1998 as the finance director with a local
auto dealer. In 2001 I started with Major Mortgage on the
residential side of finance. The last three years have been
the most challenging yet rewarding years of my life. There
is no better feeling in the world than that of being able
to help people make what is usually the scariest decision
they will ever make, and turn it into reality. Making peoples
dreams come true makes my job the best job in the world.
